The news of the resignation came from the billionaire friend of Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Warren Buffett.
Berkshire Hathaway's Leader and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Warren Buffett has announced that he is resigning from his board of trustees mission at the
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMG).
"I QUIT"
In a statement, Buffet said, “I have been a trustee, inactive member of the board of trustees, of BMG, which has been a mere recipient of my funds for years.
I am now resigning from this position as well as on the governing councils of all companies outside of Berkshire.” used the term.
Noting that BMG's CEO is Mark Suzman, a prominent name recently chosen by himself,
Buffet said, "My goals are 100 percent in line with those of the foundation, and I do not need my physical participation in any form to achieve these goals." made its assessment.
“I PLAY EXTENSIONS”
Stating that he's getting old now,
Buffet said, "Obviously, I'm playing in a game that left the fourth quarter behind and went into overtime." he used his word.
Buffet noted that he is halfway through his goal of giving away all of his holdings, and donated an additional $4.1 billion.
