Weekly Digest for Tiffany Lambert

  • To:Income MARKETING opportunities

    Hi Income!

As promised, here's what you missed this week.

NOTE: My current launch which went live yesterday only has 4 days left.

-----> Supplementary Cheatsheet for a Niche I Told You About

    Well tonight is football game
    2
of the week. Now that Scarlett's dating a player on the JV team, she wants to go to BOTH the JV and varsity games, so I'm planning on staking out the parking lot working in my car. I kind of like these nice, quiet evenings with the stadium lights shining nearby, the sound of the crowd cheering and the drumline playing. I'm not one for crowds, so being nearby for my daughter gives me peace of mind, but I can relax or work during her fun.

Okay here's what I have for you today:

A Supplementary Cheatsheet Under $4 for a Niche I Recently Told You About

Do y'all remember at the end of August when I told you about an augmented reality niche for tangible items that's growing in popularity? I gave you the example of the crime wines?

If you need a refresher, shoot me an email and I'll send you the link to the email...but what happened is Barb Ling put together one of her amazing super cheap cheat sheets for the augmented reality niche!

This is not a gamer niche, FYI - it's all kinds of stuff like t-shirts, birthday cards, mugs - you name it. It actually started off with gaming when Pokemon Go came out, but it morphed into tangible items for sale. Really neat. I'll be buying stuff like this for my teen and adult kids this Christmas for sure!

Barb's cheat sheet had resources for augmented reality marketing ideas and tutorials, POD tools and resources for getting this done, and some insight on how the niche came about and the power of it.

It started at just over $3 so it's probably not even $4 yet. She does nice, slow dimesales for everyone, which I love. But it started yesterday, so do go take a look and pick it up. This is incredible - could be put to use in a bunch of different niches.

I'm thinking of so many ways you could create or design something really incredible - in addition to the mugs and t-shirts - like toys (thinking like Build a Bear where they input the recorded "heart" saying something to the kid, only this time it's AR technology maybe on the toy itself or a clothing item). There are people wanting card games, jewelry, business cards and tons more.

Pick up Barb's cheap cheat sheet here:

    https://warriorplus.com/o2/a/nkx9s/0

OH! And I JUST heard something on the radio about this too. LOTS of sports teams are getting in on the action. The Dallas Cowboys are going to have an augmented reality at the stadium this year with larger than life digital players and all sorts of cool stuff. I saw another stadium somewhere that had dragons flying all around.

It's becoming so mainstream so get in on it BEFORE it becomes a household topic.

-----> Be Careful Who's on Your List

Well I had a great day yesterday. My sweet son (Dylan - the personal trainer and soon to be nutritionist) came over and meal prepped for the whole family. He made a delicious pesto chicken with angel hair pasta and veggies and a salmon with rice and veggies. I told him how much I appreciated it (he was showing me how to cook healthier, fast, etc.) and he said "Mom I come see you every Friday and I'd be happy to meal prep for you every week if you want me to.

I mean... seriously. And then Scarlett said, "I hope my kids love me as much as yours love you, cuz we love you a lot." They just make life so amazing.

So I slept in today and woke up ready to kick some major butt this week. I have a TON to do.

This is something we haven't talked about yet. I usually go over how to vet the vendors and products.

But guess what? You also have to vet your subscribers. You want QUALITY, not quantity.

I wrote a blog post about what a low quality subscriber means, how they can hurt your business and how to weed them out here:

    http://tiffanylambert.com/blog/be-careful-about-who-you-have-on-your-list/

So a couple of things for you today:

    2
    - Why the Product and Copy Have to Match

If you're a vendor OR an affiliate, this is a good lesson for you. Vendors need to make sure their product and copy is done correctly and affiliates need to check for this kind of thing.

    http://tiffanylambert.com/blog/why-the-product-and-the-copy-have-to-match-up/

    3
    - Consistency Is Key

I had a memory pop up the other day. It said: Success is the fruit of marrying a dream with consistent execution.

It was a quote (I'm no Jay Shetty) by Billy Alsbrooks.

I love the reminder. Because as much as we like to think we're "trying," if we're not consistent day in, day out, then the likelihood of us failing increases.

Consistency is a hard habit to adopt. I'm working on it myself right now. Still. My kids told me the other day, when I was frustrated with myself about still being fat, even though I'm less than I was last year - "Mom, know what we love about you dieting? You never give up."

That's true. But I haven't yet found the consistency I need to succeed. Trying for a couple of weeks, stopping and starting doesn't help me whittle the waist and it won't help you build a business, either.

The thing I AM working on is implementing consistent small habits that become part of who I am. I want them to be something I don't even have to think about. But if I try to do too much at once, I quit. I embrace inconsistency - and failure.

So this week, if this is a problem for you, too, why don't you sit down and write up about 10 habits you want to adopt into a routine basis. For business, for example, it might be something like:

Find one new person to network with every day.

Spend at least 10-15 minutes a day learning something for marketing.

Write a brand new blog post once a week.

Create one new Pin for Pinterest every other day...and so on.

Once you're doing the first one on autopilot, add the second, third, fourth, etc.

-----> New Blog Post, Affiliate Rebilling Resource, Content Course, Mind REset PLR

I'm becoming a regular Martha Stewart over here! Made a risotto yesterday with broccoli in a cheese sauce and chicken for our meal prep. The kids are loving the meal prep boxes - they can just come home, grab one and eat it before doing homework. I won't tell them it's a bag risotto, rotisserie chicken and bagged vegetables. As far as they know I made it all from scratch. LOL!

But it's better than a TV dinner.

Listen, this FIRST item below had an earlybird discount, so I'm sending this out BEFORE the two items following it actually open. But I wanted y'all to get the best pricing. Make sure you read my blog post below, too! It's an answer to a subscriber's question.

New Blog Post: How to Build an Audience While You Work on Your Own Product

So a GREAT question came in - and I answered it in today's blog post.

If you're considering getting into a niche and while you're working on a product, you'd like to build an audience, here are some tips for you:

    http://tiffanylambert.com/blog/how-to-build-an-audience-while-you-work-on-your-own-product/

    -----> Tutorial: Finding Forums

Oh man. Every year - and it's been 18 years now - I turn into an emotional wreck on this day. I think 9/11 will always be fresh in my mind and soul. It's hitting me even harder this year, too because I was just recently at the site standing right where it happened, paying my respects. I'm so grateful that we got to go and that my kids got to see it, since they were too little to understand.

I also loved understanding that New York grit and spirit. It's unique and admirable. It was unlike what I expected it to be. I'll be pretty quiet today. I tend to just watch old news casts and relive it. I think it's important not to bury it - I don't want to ever forget what happened. And I certainly can't work when I'm emotional.

So here's what I jotted down yesterday and queued up for today's email:

    A Lesson Finding Forums

Someone who saw yesterday's tutorial about building an audience asked about finding forums, so I thought I'd do a lesson it here:

    http://tiffanylambert.com/blog/finding-forums-to-brand-yourself-as-a-helpful-expert/

-----> Yesterday Reaffirmed My Choice of Creating PLR for This Niche

So yesterday was already emotional because it was 9/11. But then I had one of those kind of mornings on top of that. The rollercoaster of ups and downs made me realize I need to be more focused on some self care that I've let slip to the backburner.

It started off with a stinging on my toe, only to find a trail of little black ants going ALL the way from the back door to the dog food bowl! I despise ants. So I tackled that.

Then, on my way to take Scarlett to school I see this weird thing light up on my dashboard - it showed an engine, arrows, what looked like a tire and my battery. It was like trying to decipher ancient hieroglyphics! My manual had nothing in it. I'm on an hour round trip hoping I don't break down.

I heard straight to the dealership and wait for an answer, only to find out I had hit some "eco" button that tells me whether my hybrid is using gas or electricity at the time. LOLOLOLOL! My stress melted away but I was like, "Whew! I need to find ways to pamper myself tonight." I felt SO dumb but even the mechanic was like, "I'd never seen that before, either." Ha ha!

So today, I'm launching a topic we ALL need as a new PLR bundle: Total Self Care - an inside out, head to toe approach to both physical and mental self care. So it's a good cross-over niche not just for mental topics like anxiety, stress, etc. - but also for anti aging, parenting, finances and success, sleep, fitness, weight loss, health and more!

REALLY good dual niche profit potential, too - for both tangibles AND digital products.

    Now here's the cool thing:

I did the front end as a brand new pack of 35 articles (you get them for under $0.50 each for 5 days) and they're based on stuff I was seeing trending and in the news.

There are over 15,000 words of new content for you to grab here: http://plrlaunch.com/total-self-care-plr/

But then... if you need a full suite of content, you can add on the upgrade option that includes a full eBook, sales copy, lead magnet report, product reviews, email series (5 before the sale of the book and 5 post sale), plus ecover graphics that are editable!

And the upsell items are yours during the sale for about $0.45 per page!

So I REALLY trimmed your pricing for this launch. Then, at the end of the day on the 17th, it all goes up to full price.

Here's a list of the articles for you in the front end bundle:

-----> Crucial Affiliate Tip, Make Things Right, Deal Day!

I've been running myself into the ground lately with too little sleep so my goal this week is to get on a good bedtime schedule. I was doing good there for awhile but then I end up staying up later and later. Last night I fell asleep in the middle of the debates and that means I'm exhausted because I love watching politics!

So here's what I have for you today:

    1
    - Crucial Affiliate Tip

Sometimes, there's something many of us are talking and joking about behind the scenes and the public doesn't know any better, so I feel compelled to share it with you.

There will be times when you take a course for online success and apparently the people teaching it will advise you that when you apply to promote a product as affiliate, you should say something like, "I'm a student of (that vendor's name) and I'm sure I can promote this well," etc.

    PLEASE NEVER DO THIS.

You are shooting yourself in the foot SO bad.

Even if the people are top vendors, MANY of them have horrible ethics. I can't tell you how many people I denied on this current launch because they used that cookie cutter statement to apply to promote. First, it shows a total lack of personalization. Better to mention why you like the topic for your list than to say you're a student of these people. Second, if you're learning from them, and I think they're scumbag marketers, I SURE don't want you promoting my stuff.

And don't go by who YOU like. You NEVER know what the vendor thinks of the person you're considering name dropping. SO MUCH goes on behind the scenes that you won't know about. So ALWAYS apply based on your own merit and never ever name drop another person.

    2
    - Deal Day

FIRST - It's the LAST DAY for Justin Popovic's Success Rituals PLR sale and it's soooooo good. This is a video course with PLR rights. That means it's something you could turn around and sell and make a nice profit from. Justin's a professional speaker and motivational expert so his stuff is incredible. Check it out here:

    https://toolsformotivation.com/idevaffiliate//idevaffiliate.php?id=tiffany_181_3_185

SECOND - Sharyn of Content Sparks has a weekend special for half off her "Know Your Customer" PLR bundle here:

    https://affiliates.contentsparks.com/aff/idevaffiliate.php?id=1232_46_3_30

It includes a course book, action guide, cheat sheet, graphics and infographics, interview questions, customer profile template, slideshow, and social media posts!

THIRD - Not to toot my own horn (okay yes I will), but my front end and upgrade option to my Total Self Care is getting lots of great feedback! If you get the upgrade with the original article bundle, then you end up with everything you need to start an entire site AND have a product to sell. The articles on the front end will beef up your blog, but then the One Time Offer upgrade gives you an eBook, sales copy, lead magnet, email series, product reviews and ecover graphics.

And the price is between $0.48 and $0.50 per page! SO cheap for good, quality content. Takes the pressure off of YOU to have to research and brainstorm and create it from scratch. AND it's a good crossover niche into any niche that has stress in it.

Check it out - sale only lasts 4 more days:

    http://plrlaunch.com/total-self-care-plr-/

    3
    - Make Things Right

So today a friend and I were talking and she mentioned in passing that a relative of mine (I won't say who but it's not one of my kids) had her PREpay her for some articles and then she never delivered them.

I got to see the emails exchanged and there were plenty of excuses - dental problems and a vacation to go on. But she took the money and never delivered!

I was embarrassed to say the least. This was years ago, too. Made me wonder who else this had happened to who didn't tell me because they didn't want to humiliate me?

Anyway, this person was so sweet about it but I begged her to let me make it right - by either refunding the money my relative took or letting me create content for her. She opted for content, so I'm whipping up 15 new articles for her.

Sometimes, things aren't your fault but they DO reflect on you to some degree. After all, it was me who told people to hire this person.

I also had someone years who partner up with me for a launch and they delayed SO much in paying the leaderboard prizes that I asked who won because I was going to pay them myself! (This was before the system had it for all to see).

That annoyed him, but oh well. He finally paid it and didn't give me the names. But I was annoyed.

ALWAYS protect your own reputation. And if someone screwed over your friends or customers, do what you can to remedy the situation. EVEN if they say it's no problem. It's what's RIGHT, period.

    Tiff ;)

Is Everyone Capable Of Successfully Doing Work From Home?

Work from home or freelancing looks to be a great idea. Isn't it? Many people think that working from home for any business, online job, or freelancing gives them more space and freedom. Definitely, it does. It has many advantages I'm going to discuss later, however, one must not disregard the demands and disadvantages of it also. Advantages: Let's talk about both the positives and negatives of work from home: Work according to your own schedule: This is perhaps the greatest advantage you have in home-based work. You can make a flexible schedule according to your comfort level. You start or stop work whenever you like. If you feel a bit need to have rest, you just shut down and take a break. Some people like to work in the late evening or night hours. They will be more than happy if they get a work at home opportunity. You can have lunch, dinner, tea, and coffee whenever you feel like to. Just relax, make your own timetable and work anytime or any length of hours round the clock. Manage time as you feel comfortable. Be your own BOSS: Unlike office-based jobs, you don't have a BOSS. No one will come to your desk to check whether you are working or not. No reporting to and scolding by BOSS at all. 'No sword is hanging over the head' is one of the most relaxing thoughts for many people. Therefore, no or less stress than office work. Can be managed on weekends or part-time: Flexibility is one of the biggest advantages of work from home. If your work is not too much stretched out, you can manage it on weekends and as part-time along with a regular job. If you are working with a company that allows working as much as easily manageable, you must take the advantage of work from home. It would be a great source of making money, though may not be very highly paid. However, with a few hours of weekly working, you can make some extra bucks. Decorate your office place as you like: Not only time, space is also yours in work from home. You can fix a corner for your table and computer system wherever you like. Decorate it with flowers, photos, colors and things of your choice. If and when need, you can change the place also. If your work is mostly computer-based, you can sit with your laptop on the lawn, roof-top, balcony etc. Not bound to a single space. A lot of saving: When you join an office, you need to go to the job 5 days a week. You have to maintain a proper wardrobe as well as taking out a chunk of money for monthly transportation and food expenses. Sometimes, your office is located far away and reaching there is no less than a hassle. Or you have to rely on outside food which you don't like. Some of the companies offer to give pick and drop and food for the employees for a reasonable cutting from their salary. But that way, they get a great facility. Wardrobe, transportation, and food expenses eat up a great portion of your paycheck. Work from home totally minuses the expenses of wardrobe and transportation. Then remains the food only which you enjoy in the form of home-made healthy and low-priced meals. No frustrating co-workers or workplace issues: One of the biggest and stressful problems of office and a regular job is the presence of unpleasant and non-cooperative co-workers. Harassment is also a great workplace issue for females especially. Work from home saves you from these frustrating things which can have a negative effect on your health and career growth also. Disadvantages: Above were a few positives of work from home. Now, let's have a look at negatives also: Laziness: Work from home gives you the advantage of time flexibility but it also demands a great self-discipline. If you are lazy, you can't meet the deadlines. You must have to make a timetable and set daily working hours to run it smoothly. Postponing the work for the next day will hurt your progress. Working alone offers no competition: Presence of co-workers offers a competitive environment and motivates you to work better and better. Work at home has nothing like that. You are your own competitor there so performance comparison is also not involving. Competing with, and defeating your own self is not easy for everyone. Providing a space at home: If you have plenty of space at home, well and good. But if you are living in a tight space, taking out a room for home-based work may be difficult. Additionally, you may have to tolerate the noise and disturbance by kids and family. Lack of communication in-between the team: If you are working for a remote or out-of-country employer, you feel a lack of communication with other teammates and employers. Online meetings and chat can't produce the results as the face-to-face and office-based jobs offer. Time difference between the countries also matters. You may need to wait for the meeting or chat for long hours. Work ethics and culture: Ethics and culture matter a lot if you are working for an out-of-country employer. If an African is working for an American company, he/she may have to face cultural and behavioral issues. Some cultures don't like to hear NO from the employees; some encourage to express their opinion. So work from home may also be stressful due to cultural differences. So these are the positives as well as negatives involved in work from home. If you like it, you must keep all these aspects in mind. Take into account all the facets before plunging into home-based work. It is not suitable for everyone. If you are ready to take on and fulfill the demands of work from home, go ahead. If not, prefer an office based job instead. Rizwanaa Shaikh is fond of reading and writing on general topics and issues.
